Scotch

To many, Scotch is synonymous with whisky. We are proud to be able to offer our clients some of the finest casks from the most prestigious distilleries.

An Old and Established Market

Scotland is the global leader in whisky, existing in 168 markets worldwide and being worth £7.1 billion. With 147 whisky distilleries operating in Scotland £3 of every £100 of Scotlands Gross Value Added is created by Scotch whisky.  43 bottles of Scotch are exported every second and more Scotch is drunk globally than American, Japanese and Irish whiskies combined. 2023 saw an export value of £5.6 Billion which was a value growth of 14% on 2019, £2 Billion of this is generated through strong market presence in the Asia- Pacific region.

Our Offerings

At Caskcap, we are great believers in bringing our clients value. This is becoming increasingly more difficult in the Scottish cask market. This is due to how established the industry is, and the structure of Scottish cask brokerages, the price of entry into Scotch for investment grade casks tends to be much higher and the returns far more modest. However, due to the notoriety of the industry and the global reach of the spirit, Scotch casks can be a very stable and desirable asset. So, when working with our clients who desire Scotch casks, our process is far more bespoke, trying to find the right distilleries and cask types to
achieve their ownership goals.

If you have the dream to own your own cask of Scottish whisky, please get in touch and let us find the right cask for you.
