Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter of this prize draw is Caskcap Ltd, Sierra Quebec Bravo, 77 Marsh Wall, Canary Wharf, London. E14 9SH
2. Eligibility
- This prize draw is open to individuals aged 18 years or older, who are residents of UK and Ireland.
- To enter, participants must:
- Like the prize draw post.
- Tag 3 friends in the comments.
- Ensure that both the participant and their tagged friends are following @Caskcap.
- Employees of Caskcap Ltd, their families, and anyone professionally connected with the prize draw are not eligible to enter.
3. How to Enter
- The prize draw will run until midnight on 30th November 2024.
- To participate, follow the steps outlined in the original prize draw post.
- No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
- Each comment tagging 3 separate friends (and all 3 friends must be following @Caskcap on insta) counts as one entry. Multiple entries are allowed, but each tag must be a different 3 friends.
4. Prizes
The prize bundle for this competition is:
- An all-expenses-paid distillery tour for the winner and one guest. This includes transportation, accommodation (if applicable), meals, and distillery tour costs.
- A free cask of Irish whiskey from Caskcap Ltd. (The winner will own the cask and receive any growth received in the cask until disposed of).
- An iPhone 16.
Neither the Prize bundle nor the individual items are transferable, refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.
5. Winner Selection
- The winners will be randomly selected from all valid entries received by the closing date.
- The draw will take place on 1 December 2024 and winners will be notified via direct message on Instagram within 7 days of the draw.
- Winners must respond within 48 hours to claim their prize, or an alternative winner may be selected.
6. Prize Fulfilment
- The distillery tour must be booked and taken within 6 months of winning.
- The iPhone 16 will be sent within, 30 days of the winner confirming their delivery address.
7. Publicity
By entering this competition, participants agree to their name and Instagram handle being used in announcements of the winners and in future marketing activities.
8. General
-The promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is incomplete, corrupt, or in breach of these terms and conditions.
-The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the prize draw and these terms and conditions if circumstances arise outside of its control.
-The promotion is not sponsored or endorsed by Instagram.
9. Data Protection
All personal data will be handled in accordance with Caskcap Ltd’s privacy policy, which can be found at www.caskcap.com
10. Governing Law
This prize draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of said jurisdiction.

- Evaporation ("Angel’s Share"): Whiskey stored in casks naturally evaporates over time. An average annual loss of 2% in volume and alcoholic strength is expected under normal warehouse conditions.
- Costs & Fees: Additional costs may apply, including but not limited to warehouse storage, insurance, regauging, sampling, and bottling fees. Please speak to us for further details.
- Tax Considerations: If you choose to bottle your whiskey, duty and VAT will be payable before the whiskey is removed from an HMRC-licensed warehouse. It is the cask owner's responsibility to ensure compliance with tax obligations.
Cask Management
- Regular cask health checks are recommended every three years to monitor liquid levels and condition. Services such as regauging, sampling, and photography are available at an additional cost.
